As part of their Service Learning project, students in Mrs. Ryan's 4th grade class at Ft. Wright Elementary made blankets for dialysis patients. Julie, from the Kidney Foundation, taught the students a little about their kidneys, what dialysis does for the kidneys and how patients receive dialysis before starting the project. The finished blankets were taken to the DaVita dialysis facility in Crestview Hills.

The students had a blast making the blankets (above) and were proud of their finished products (below)
