Ways To Give

There are a number of ways that your thoughtfulness and generosity help support the important work of the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati.

Charitable Gifts

Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or the passing of a loved one are all moments that have special meaning. A thoughtful way to honor these special moments is to create a living memorial with a donation, in the name of a loved one, to KFGC. You can also make a general contribution to our annual fund to support the critical work of the foundation.

  • Memorial Gifts - Make a donation in memory of someone who has died from kidney disease or who was committed to the lifesaving work of KFGC. KFGC will send an acknowledgement of your gift.
  • Honorarium - Make a donation to acknowledge a birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday or other special occasion. To announce your thoughtful gesture, KFGC will send an acknowledgement on this special occasion to the family or person you designate.
  • General Donation to the Annual Fund - Make a donation in your name to support the programs and services of KFGC.
  • Matching Gift Program - Double or Triple your donation! Many workplaces offer the opportunity for employees to make a donation to a charitable organization. Often these programs will match your contribution dollar for dollar! Please check with your company to find out if it offers a workplace giving program that will match your gift to KFGC.
  • Planned Giving - Meet your financial goals and help fight kidney disease by arranging to make a long-term donation. Your tax-exempt year end contribution can mean funds for future medication aid, emergency assistance, health education programs and leading-edge research.

If you are interested in helping the Foundation meet the challenges posed by kidney disease and the escalating needs of kidney patients, you may want to consider a contribution to the agency through the donation of stocks, real estate, and life insurance and through charitable wills and trusts. Such gifts would provide a life-giving endowment named for you on behalf of the Foundation. In addition, planned gifts receive favorable income and estate tax treatment.
